Scorpion EXO-3000-920 Visor KDF-15

The Scorpion EXO-920 EVO is positioned in the market as a budget-friendly modular helmet. The helmet is intended for the beginner rider who has a sportive riding style, but also likes to make longer rides. The EXO-920 EVO will compete with the HJC I90 and the Shark EVO ES.

The  Exo-920  evo  from  the  2022 collection has a recommended retail price of € 159.90. The helmet is Pinlock prepared and can be equipped with a  MaxVision  Pinlock  lens. The helmet is has a Kwikwick C liner that has moisture wicking properties and is fully removable and washable. The helmet is provided with anti-bacterial fabric that feels very soft. You will also find Kwikfit cheek pads in the lining. These pads give you the opportunity to wear glasses in the helmet. The EXO-920 features an integrated speedview sun visor, which can also be seen on the EXO-491 and the EXO-930 from scorpion. Furthermore the helmet is equipped with a ratchet closure.

Material 

The helmet is made of Polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is less strong than fiberglass. As a result, more material is needed to provide an equal level of protection. Furthermore, the helmet comes in only 2 shell sizes. 

Gewicht

Visor 

Scorpion offers you the option to equip the helmet with a MaxVision  pinlocklens. A pinlock lens ensures that your visor does not fog up. You place the pinlock on the inside of your visor, so that it functions as double glass. Furthermore, the visor has a wide field of view.

In addition to the wide field of view, the helmet has an integrated SpeedView sun visor. The visor is easy to operate while riding. The sun visor is anti-condensation treated on both sides and it contains an Ellip-tec visor mechanism. This means that you can remove the visor without any tools necessary. When the visor falls into the lock, the visor pulls close to the shell for a good seal. This has the advantage that both wind and noise are kept out.
